DMMH was commissioned by The Ministry of Education and Research to run the web-site mennibarnehagen.no. The assignment came in the wake of the «Action Plan for gender equality in the ECECs and primary education 2009 – 2011.» The intention was to create a site that was an experience-sharing forum for all those working to increase the number of men in Norwegian ECECs and in education. DMMH has received renewed confidence through the new action plan «Equality 2014» where the site is listed as an initiative that will continue. In the winter of 2012 the site was renewed and we hope it will benefit and inspire to ensure that children and adults in day care will experience greater diversity in the staff group.
